Basis DC vs. KIPP DC Will Academy

My child is at Basis DC, and we are coming to the realization that the school is not a good fit for their learning style. We are now exploring other middle school options, and we came across KIPP DC Will Academy. Curious if anyone here has experienced both schools and can share thoughts about each?
Basis DC is a rigorous STEM school and usually means 2-3 hours of homework. We are wondering if KIPP’s rigor is the same or the students can breathe a bit more? |
