I know you don't want to actually hear about anything that doesn't fit your narrative, but the exact opposite is true. He's considered one of the classiest, nicest, and yes smartest, people in his field. Whether you appreciate that style of smarts doesn't matter. The fact is that he's incredibly well liked in part because he's so generous with sharing his knowledge about the position he plays, which is not an easy position. He and another player started TEU, and if helping people become better at their sport, whom you will play opposite from in competition, doesn't speak to you, I don't know what to say. You clearly hate him for some inexplicable reason, so I don't know, sit with your hate I guess? To me, a football and music fan, he and they are a breath of fresh air.

So now the people interviewing him are douchebags? What exactly do you know about them to come to that conclusion? I personally never heard of them, so I can't even begin to evaluate them as human beings to the degree you seem to be able to do. Please share your knowledge.

This! So many other players spend their off season doing questionable things that they end up in the news for... meanwhile Travis hosts charity events and TEU to help his competitors get better!! How can people hate this man?

I see someone’s feelings were hurt with the last comment. Dishing it out but can’t take it. Got it. Trying again. There are different kinds of smarts. He’s smart enough to excel at a sport that pays him millions, smart enough to know when the end to that career is coming and plan for what’s next, and smart enough to love someone out loud who has spent countless years in hiding. He’ll never have to worry about money ever again. That’s pretty darn smart and I bet you can’t say the same.
