Just missing cut-off - what to do for the next year?

DD will miss the FCPS deadline by a week when she's ready to start K. For those with DC who have fall birthdays, what did they do for that year? DD is in a program that goes up to pre-K, but she'll have already been in the class the previous year. Does she repeat it? Find another program?

I assume your child is 3 right now?

You can look to a Montessori based program that has a larger age range for each class.

If the current program is very play based, possibly look for a more structured program

Think about a language immersion pre-school like what communikids offers
