Started as Gs-4 clerk typist during college.

Degree in Math.

Hire as Statistician but I was already a fed.

Started as an intern during my MPA program and was hired on graduation. Lucked out on timing—they were looking for or interns and knew they would be hiring from the intern pool so I postponed my graduation date from May to August so I would be eligible to intern. This was in 1999. Started as a GS-9 equivalent and promoted to GS-12 after 18 months. .
