Do you really find the time to switch your handbags?

I feel like I never have the time to do that. So I just use the same one over and over again whether it matches or not. I have a few pretty nice bags too and they sit in my closet.

I just change mine with the seasons.

I have only two, an orangey one for spring and summer, and a dark brown one for fall/winter. I do not care if they match my shoes or outfit, mostly they go into my drawer at work.

No time at all. This is why my every day bag is a tan leather purse which goes with anything. When going out somewhere special like out to dinner or something, then I'll switch it up to a clutch or something smaller.

Of course. I treat them just like shoes.

I hiss at the old way of matching handbags to shoes to clothing to season.

I can't even find the time to switch things over to my new handbag from my old one.

Somewhere they sell discreet fabric pouches to put your stuff in permanently, so that you can just switch the pouch from handbag to handbag... Am hesitating, because what I like to do is tuck all my little things in different compartments of my handbags...

I have one of those long strips of pockets but hardly use it. I still switch my handbags whenever the outfit calls for it. If everything stays in chunks or small bags - ie, cosmetics, small essentials, receipt folder, etc. - instead of loose, changing is a snap. It's when everything is small and loose that it takes more time. But if you find that changing becomes a project, it's time to skip the bag and move directly to the steamer trunk.

I switch on special occasions. When I worked I switched every few days at least but after I stopped working my wardrobe became all black so there is no need most of the time. Status bags are a waste of money if you have children under 3. Mine collect dust most days.

I used to switch bags all the time - now I maybe do it every few weeks. I put everything in my bag on the table or bed so I'm not leaving anything behind in the old bag and pop it all into the new one. I agree with the poster who said expensive purses are sort of a waste with small children - I sold several of my old purses on eBay while I was home on maternity leave because I realized I was carrying a diaper bag pretty much everywhere. I got some extra cash and now I just have a few bags that I really love, which makes me feel like much less of a glutton for fashion.
