Some Helpful Advice Re Acupuncturists

Anonymous
Hi everyone,
Like everyone else on this forum I'm struggling with infertility. However, I stumbled upon a new support forum that is fantastic that I wanted to let you know about. It's called IVFCONNECTIONS. Unlike DCUM, however, it's an international forum. It has the advantage of the shared experiences of a far greater number of women. But you canalso find the Virginia/MD forums in there too. I learned so much more about fertility treatments, IVF, acupuncture, etc... there.
Also I wanted to pass along the name of my acupuncturist. She is only one of two acupuncturists in the state of VA who is certified in fertility and the only female acupuncturist in VA certified in fertility. One thing I learned from IVfConnections is that it is best to be treated only by an acupuncturist certified in fertility. The exam required to get fertility certification is extremely rigorious. Those who have certification in this are far more qualified than other acupuncturists. My acupuncturists name is Njemile Carol Jones of Alexandria http://www.mbmatters.com/ So if you choose to do acupuncture, make sure to find one who's certified in fertility. She's a bit of a professional, no-nonsense acpuncturist but she has a gentle hand with the needles and is honest and really knows her stuff.
Njemile Jones was mentored by Randine Lewis herself. Randine is the author of The Infertility Cure http://www.thefertilesoul.com/
Randine is a doctor but also trained in TCM. Randine asserts that she has a far greater success rate in live birth than even the best clinics in the country.

Good luck to all!

Thanks for the info on your acupuncturist. How often do you see her? How much does she charge? Also - what are the hours of the office - are they open only during regular business hours or do they have some evening/weekend hours?

Thanks!
