Watkins families: how's it going in the renovated building?

Anonymous
Hoping to get some feedback from Watkins families about how things are going. We are in-bounds but at a charter and frequently think about making the switch. We were discouraged by some comments by the principal last year, but are interested to know how families are feeling about the school.

A renovated building doesn't make for a neighborhood school. Look at Stuart-Hobson.

Anyone with actual experience at the school care to chime in?

It seems like being back in the building has been relatively smoother than last year at E-H. Fewer aftercare hiccups. My kid seems happy to be in the renovated building and hasn't complained about anything yet. She started the year reluctant to buy lunch but now says it's fine. I don't think there is much difference in the classrooms.
