Falls Church City Daycare for 2YO

Anonymous
So, my 5 year old will be starting kindergarten in the fall. That gets rid of her during most of the day. But I may need somewhere for my 2 year old to go. Because of financial reasons, I may have to go back to work full-time (boo) and need somewhere for him to go near my home in Falls Church City. Interested in either in-home or daycare center for I guess either 4 or 5 full-days. I have my resume to some places, but haven't heard back so I can't really put my son into something without getting a job first. And once I get a job, then I will need care pretty immediate, so waiting lists might cause an issue. It's a catch 22. Can't get a job without daycare; can't get daycare without a job. Anyway, any recommendations would be great! Thanks.

My day care provider, Shoba, has an immediate opening. My son is going into preschool. I've used Shoba for 5 years between my daughter and son.

She's located in Falls Church City near Broad Street and Lee Hwy. She can be reached at 703-534-5088.

Good luck in the job search!

St. Joseph's Preschool/Daycare, 203 Spring St, right in Falls Church City near the library and Nova Peds. Our almost 4 year old has been going for almost 2 years now and we really like it.

Thanks to both suggestions. I will call Shoba if things work out wednesday at the job interview. And I toured St. Joseph's last friday. I liked the facility and outdoor area and the proximity of St. Joseph's a lot (it is sooooo close to where i live). I am a little concerned about the facility having its 3rd director in a year and also wondering how religious the school is. We aren't catholic (not even christian), and while I like my kids to know about all religions and cultures, I want to make sure that it doesn't get away from our family beliefs. So any additional info on St. Joseph's would be appreciated.

Thanks.
