Expectant and Postpartum Moms
| Seems everyone likes the ones from Target, but what brand are they (or do you like if not from there) and why? Are they the Gilligan & O'Malley brand? |
| Bravado for the day as they provide most support, (although they are expensive). Target for nights to sleep in. I am not sure of the brand name but they sell only 1 type. |
| I second Bravado. Expensive but the Target ones are like flimsy nothings in comparison. |
|
Beware, all of them shrink, expensive ones included!
Target (Gillian O'Malley) were fine. You'll have plenty of other things to spend money on, no need for $40 nursing tanks! |
| You can't beat Bravado's quality. I have two tanks, and I wear them several times a week, washing & drying them each time. Have been wearing them for almost 6 months, and they are still in great shape. It was an investment to buy ($45-50 each), but well worth it. They also make my boobs look better and more supported than other nursing bras, including Bravado ones (which I also wear and love, but not everyday). They do another layer, though, so they will be even better for fall than summer! |
| CVS.com regularly has very good sale prices on Bravado tanks (currently $37). |
| Anyone know where you can buy the Bravado tanks in person? Perhaps the DC Breastfeeding Center? |
Yes, you can. I think Target ones are good for sleeping or hanging around the house, or for wearing under other clothes. Bravado are good for wearing solo on hot sum m er days! |
| Bravado. They are expensive but they are the only nursing tank I've worn for the past 6 months. I've started with 1 and now rotate between 3. |

My favorites were the Glamourmom tanks. You can buy them at the BF Center on K Street or on-line. They're expensive but worth it -- great quality and they suck in the post-baby belly fat, which is nice!
I also have a few Gillian O'Malley tanks from Target, which are just fine but not nearly as comfortable/flattering as the Glamourmom ones! |
| I bought 2 at Walmart, and they work great. |
