It is really good. Even my husband, who is not normally a fan of history documentaries, is enjoying it.

Not really a Ken Burns fan, but I'm finding this series interesting because my husband is Vietnamese and grew up there during the war. He can't bear to watch it.

It's very good, but very depressing. I'm having trouble watching too much at a time.

Just watched episodes 1 and 2. So good.

It's very cool to hear from the Vietnamese perspective. Honestly I never really knew this was basically just a war for independence for them.

I can only handle a few minutes at a time.

Yes, I don't think I can do all 10 hours. I do watch 10 minutes here or there but man, it's heavy and hard.

People lived through the Vietnam war and you can't even watch a documentary about it without falling apart? Weak.

I'm really enjoying it and learning a lot that I didn't know about the war.

It's 18(!) hours. Pretty intense. We've been watching most evenings.

Thinking about all those kids that went to Vietnam. What a mess it all was.

I'm loving it. It's intense, but fascinating.

Absolutely riveting. I bought it on Apple TV. I watched the first episode twice in a row. There's so much detail and history that I couldn't take it all in.
Ho Chi Minh considered Thomas Jefferson his hero and quoted the US Constitution as a model for self government? The US financed N. Vietnam initially as a fighting force against the Japanese? Who knew? This is just for starters.
