Looking for a edgy, hip, bag

Anonymous
In the market for a classic bag that is a little hip and edgy. Any suggestion on a specific bag? I already have a lot of Prada.

Please. Someone is going to recommend Tory Burch. Finding something edgy on this site is virtually impossible.

Prove me wrong people.

Tokidoki, the italian brand that looks like japanese manga. There really isn't anything edgier (hip and risky). Virtually unknown in the fashion-challenged District, but all the rage in more forward looking cities (meaning it will probably be passe in a few years).
Not anywhere near classic, so too far out for you, probably.

I'm going to assume that since you have Prada, you are willing to spend on the price point. You can't go wrong with Neiman's - always cutting edge and a great selection. The hottest handbags now are YSL's Easy and Muse lines. Louise Vuitton (the Tysons Neiman's has a boutique) has come out with a new hybrid bag (two styles melded together) that is getting lots of press.

Neiman's little store, Cusp, goes younger and hip. A few things at the regular store but generally more cutting edge including cruelty-free like Matt and Nat. They also do Marc Jacobs younger line which is great.

Love Matt&Nat bags and shoes. They're also available at Nordstrom and LuLu in Bethesda and Middleburg.

I like Kooba and Rebecca Minkoff.

I love my Tano bags.

Ha! Speaking of Tory Burch...I saw a woman at the dry cleaners the other day with Tory Burch tank top, flip flops, and bag...some people have no clue.

I was just checking out Rebecca Minkoff's diaper bag. Her entire collection is edgy. Foley and Corinna, Derek Lam, Mulberry, Bulga are some others I like.

OP here-thanks for all of the suggestions. Do you like Tod's? I love the clean lines.

I think Tods are great. I would not call edgy, however. But go with classic and not boring (i.e. no LV) -- Tods are classic and always in style but not in a marmy way!

Tokidoki is actually popular around here- especially with the younger crowd. My younger cousins have them.
