Symptoms after IUD removed?

I had my mirena removed about a month ago and am TTC #2. I had light bleeding about three days after removal but sincnce then, nothing. I'm now over a week past when my period should have arrived and have felt hugely bloated and very crampy all week. All pregnancy tests are negative. Have others had a similar experience? What did your cycle look like after Mirena? Anyone else have serious bloating?

I had quite a bit of bleeding for about a week after I had my Mirena removed, then my cycles resumed regularly from there. We waited to TTC for my first period and I got pregnant once we started trying. I don't remember any odd period symptoms that first cycle other than the return of my heavy periods which had been wonderfully absent while I had the Mirena in.

I bled for a few days after removal, then my first two cycles were slightly off. I still ovulated, but not right on day 13 or whenever. I was temping which is the only reason I knew that it was a little irregular. If your tests are negative, I'd chalk it up to your system adjusting and give it another month to expect your system to be totally normal.

Still better than months to start ovulating again after the pill!
