This was reasonable until two weeks ago when the press and then the palace started releasing fake photos of her. Why didn’t they just stay silent?

And if they wanted to, they could easily release a flattering video of her that doesn’t show a colostomy bag. She seems completely inaccessible, either by choice or by circumstance. And the palace seems to be gaslighting the public. THAT is the problem.

no- the "fake photo" was a subtly photoshopped picture, just like ALL the pictures released by the palace, Megan and Harry and all your fave celebs. The media generally turns a blind eye to this. Why they decided that specific photo at that specific time needed to be "killed" is the real mystery. She IS inaccessebile because she clearly wants to be. I don't begrudge her wanting to recuperate in peace and neither should anyone with any sense of decency.

It sounds reasonable except for Kate is responsible and would’ve made a video message clarifying all this hubbub if she was still in the Palace’s domain .


Also, William cancelling engagements due to the “school run” makes no sense. Nobody’s seen him dropping kids off at school and nobody saw him or Kates family at London Clinic during her abdominal surgery in January. He was only at London Clinic once at January 17th or 18th- the day or day after her surgery was announced . No other spottings even to see his dad .

I am guessing it was an out patient procedure and the remaining information was to give them time to get home and plan for how they will make a marriage announcement to the public. Even the photo in the car she’s turned away from him and in all other car photos from years prior she’s looking straight ahead.

Their energy has been off for awhile. Like her snatching her shoulder away when he was touching. Little things about their body language that's greatly changed.

As a general rule, even within family or work, a mystery illness will always be speculated upon ad nauseum. If your boss said they would be out from New Years to Easter for abdominal surgery, everyone would speculate on what’s going on and try to guess the ailment, prognosis, and why it’s being hidden.

Treating illnesses like a taboo is something from the Stone Ages or at least the baby boomer age .

I like how Charles approached things in the best way. He even said in his statement about cancer he wanted to be transparent to avoid “wild speculation” which I took to be a very pointed hint at Will and Kate.

It would be very embarrassing if the Palace did all this just to hide something as mundane and normal as inpatient rehab for an eating disorder. Transparency always helps .
