Hogan offers $500 Million to Metro if DC and VA do the same

Just read this story. Hogan commented that a "unified lobbying effort" would increase chances for federal money. Hopefully DC and VA will step up?

DC will step up, we have the surplus money.

VA is always the one trying to shirk its responsibility, even though development along the Metro corridors in NoVA is going gangbusters.

Unfortunately, the resentment from downstate VA is just too much.

The rest of the Republicans from VA don't give a sh#t. They are bitter and commit the least amount of money to NoVA public transportation as possible. Even it that money comes back many times in the form of increased development and tax revenues.

They are truly willing to cut off their nose to spite their face, even though NoVA tax receipts prop up the rest of the state.

I don't, I think it is funny watching fairfax and Arlington get pushed around all while proclaiming how important they are.
