Georgetown hill pre-school at Bells Mill, Manor Montessori and Geneva Day school

Anonymous
Does any one have experience at the Georgetown hill at Bells Mill? I am considering their program for two-year olds. We had an nice tour but don't know any parents with experience there. How does it compare to the Manor Montesorrie and the Geneva day school? Any comment would help! Thanks very much!

There are definitely better schools in the area. Are you restricted to a specific distance from your house and so you are picking these schools? Do another search on Google for best preschools and look at parent reviews. The schools that have the most five star reviews are the ones to also take a look at. Of course this is not the only reason to look at a school but it will help with options.

We love Georgetown Hill @ Bells Mill, excellent teachers and school management, and a warm community. Frequent communication with parents, handled COVID well, and inputs from parents are taken. Very nurturing environment and kids are well prepared for Kindergarten in our case when they finish pre-school (including "academically"), and most importantly, the kids are happy!

Ignore this poster unless your goal is to get your toddler into Harvard.

We started my son (then 3 year old) at Geneva Day School in January and couldn't be happier. It's a truly excellent preschool. The outdoor space is incredible, the teachers have been there for years (low turnover is a very good sign at preschool) and my son went from not wanting to go to school to saying it was his favorite part of the day. Highly recommend. We looked at Georgetown Hill Bells Mill and also liked it a lot (and the hours are definitely more accommodating to working parents) but ultimately went with Geneva because of recommendations from current families AND the focus on outdoor time/space.

Went to GH Bells Mill and loved it - you won't find any family there who doesn't. Bonus they have school-age aftercare / virtual learning if kids are older. I also know a bunch of families happy at Geneva but if you live in the BMES school district, they're next door so have formed a great little community with the elementary school.
