I need drop in daycare for tomorrow

Does anyone know of a childcare company that will be able to accept drop in care for one day, same day, tomorrow? Thank you, I am desperate!

You could probably get an emergency babysitter to care for your child in your home. Seems a bit more humane than dumping your 2 year old in the pen. for the entire day?

It's expensive, but you will probably have better luck with finding a one day nanny with a service like White House Nannies. I have used drop-in daycares in other cities and one of the problems is that if you are a new customer, you have to provide state mandated health information (including a form that your pediatrician needs to fill out).

The only "drop in" daycare we've used in the area was Kindercare after we had already used them short term and they still had our medical records on file. They allowed us to come back for a week when our preschool was closed, only because of the records.

I think an emergency nanny is your best bet. Do you have a neighborhood FB group or list serve to post to?

For a day care center you will need to have medical forms filled out as well as immunization records etc. Your best bet will be a babysitter.
