Do talk about your therapy with your partner?

Starting with new therapist this week. Haven't been in therapy since parents divorce at 10 now 30s.
She's been in therapy for 5 yrs and recommended I start going. How do I answer if she asks about it?

If you want to share, share. If you don't, don't. You can say "I'm not ready to talk about it. I'll let you know if I am."

My DH never asks. If I tell him about it I don't tell him everything.

No. I don't trust him emotionally (with good reason).

With some things. Honestly, 75% of it is pretty boring stuff that's not worth repeating. The other 25% sheds light into why I think the way I do or do the things I do. That I share with DH. He gets excited for me when ive made progress or a revelation. He encourages me when I feel like it's not working. He's a sounding board when I'm frustrated or need to work something out some more.

I'm very lucky
