Chris Cuomo - CNN - Douche?

For some reason I have found myself watching Cuomo Primetime. Anyone else think Cuomo is a total douche? He is completely talking over his guest, not giving the guest a chance to fully respond to his rampant accusations and statements of supposed fact. Who is this guy? He is so offputtng.

Where is Anderson?!?!? Anderson strikes me as someone largely trying to allow all sides to voice their opinions. I guess Cuomo is considered more of straight editorial rather than news reporting???

He actually forces people to answer his questions, or exposes them as hacks. This is called being a good journalist and is in short supply.

He is clearly the more talented brother.

Ditto! That's my opinion too! Chris is one heck of a journalist, always asking the right questions, very involved and likable. We need more people like him

I see this trend of demeaning and devaluing people by starting stupid threads like these. Maybe the Trump bullying technique of diminishing people who don't toe their line

I think he's a smart guy but I'd agree that he clearly has a point of view which he interjects into the show.

I like him. I hate it when you see TV interviews where the interviewee is just allowed to spout talking points that make no sense and have nothing to do with the questions asked.

OP here and I think you are reading too much into my initial post.

Based on the interview-style I observed from him last night, he came off to me as a douche of a journalist.

I have mixed feelings about him. I like that he confronts his guests and asks them difficult questions but sometimes he needs to dial it down. It becomes about him fighting with the guest. Don't watch him as regularly but I think Jake Tapper does it better - he will confront a commentator but he doesn't get all roiled and confrontational about it. Still, I like Cuomo.
