Bra Shopping and Men

Anonymous
This may seem like a strange question but have any of you ladies ever noticed that when you're shopping for bras/underwear in the store that a man comes around? I've noticed this since I was a teenager but since being an adult, it really sticks out to me now. Took my god-daughter to Target and I swear, every time I went over to the bra section, a man (2 to be exact) found some way to come over to me. Neither said anything but why are you even in the area if you're not with a girlfriend, daughter or wife for instance. Why stare at me and try to see what I'm looking at?

This is one of the big reasons why I stay out of Victoria's Secret. If you're their with your spouse then watch/stare at your spouse and not all the other women.

Never noticed though I usually buy at department stores where those areas are bigger so a man could watch from many racks away. If I see a man anywhere near that section, I just assume they're looking for lingerie for a wife or gf and typically that's near the bras.

Hasn't happened to me.

Sometimes, and it's truly annoying. They hover. I usually end up leaving which is even more annoying.

Well, I wear 1 38G cup and cannot buy bras in bricks and mortar stores. Thank goodness for that!

OP here and it's great to know I'm not alone. I did end up leaving because it's so uncomfortable.

I'm a guy who takes a daughter bra shopping and aside from people who work there, I'm generally the only guy there. Aerie.

I'm a man and I've never been in the bra section of a store, but now that you mention it, that's a great way to meet women and talk about their breasts!

Please don't. When we shop for bras we don't want to talk to you about anything. Unless you want to be that creepy guy please stay away ( unless you are taking your DD shopping of course)

Sounds like PP is shopping for DDs, not shopping for his DD.

I don't think I've ever paid attention, but it wouldn't surprise me. I'll stick to online bra shopping!

Oh boy. Learn to recognize when someone is kidding around. Please tell me you didn't think the poster meant what he said for real

Women are so insecure. Women could go over to the boxer/brief section and men wouldn't give a damn. It's just boobs... and you aren't even showing anything when shopping. Relax

Man here

I can't imagine being a guy doing that. I was in Target about two weeks ago trying to figure out how to pick a training bra for my daughter (her mom isn't really involved much). I couldn't find a female employee and was almost tempted to ask a lady that was in the area but I figured that the risk of looking creepy was too high.
