All Inclusive in Mexico--Family Friendly with Nice Beach

| We currently have a (cancelable) reservation at Paradisus La Esmeralda in Playa del Carmen for a family vacation with our two kids (5 and 2.5) but I'm a bit concerned that the beach is not going to be very nice. Can anybody comment on the beach at Paradisus La Esmeralda and/or suggest another resort with a nicer beach? |

| We were happy with the beach at beach palace in Cancun (it's not that big a place but we liked it) |

We considered Beach Palace but couldn't find information about the kids' club. Did you travel with small kids? Did you use the kids' club? How was it? |

| We did not have a small kid or use the kids club. I saw them occasionally and it seemed like the kids were having fun but I obviously can't recommend it one way or the other. |
