So has anyone tried them and what do you think? I'm looking for something that would smooth out only the tummy area under a dress. I don't want anything that will make me look like a stuffed sausage! So what kind should I get?
I love them! Try them on at Nordstrom. The power panty I think is the one that is just as big as a granny panty and holds that tummy area in. They have a bigger one that goes over your ribcage and thighs too. Good stuff.
Wearing them right now and love them!
Do you feel like you get more gas when you wear them? Do you have any parts sticking out where they end? (like at the bottom of the legs)
Yes, have used them and like them. However, there are a couple other brands that are the same idea, and especially if you're in a formal dress or just generally for convenience's sake (they are a real struggle to pull up and down sometimes - especially the ones that go up to the bra area), get the ones with an opening at the crotch! I think Anne Klien or someone like that has those. I bought those and love it. (it spreads open when you sit on a toilet, not like you feel a breeze all day).

Ugh. I wore them after I had my third baby. Honestly, it's easier to lose the weight than to wear those things, especially in warm weather!!!!! They're nasty.

Nordstrom Rack usually has them for a lot cheaper, so check there first if there is one near you.
She makes a line called Assets that sells at Target for about half as munch as the Spanx does. I've tried both and honestly can't tell what the difference was if there was one.
