what was the napping policy? quite time or a full on nap? on a cot? do they need sheets/blankets?

what about snacks? does school provide or did you pack your own?

Our daughter is starting preK at Janney this year. My understanding is that they have an hour of quiet time after lunch on school provided mats. No need for blankets.

Snacks are mid morning and each child brings in his/her own.

I think the policy varies by school (because ours doesn't follow what the above poster wrote about Janney). I would ask the teacher, which I realize you probably can't do now until Monday.

what school? at lafayette, you bought a mat for them and used that for a rest time. Some kids slept, some didn't. They were allowed stuffies or blankies if needed.

There's no citywide policy. Contact the school! We bought mats, parents took turns providing snacks.
