Have your DC ever had your teachers?

So I noticed some teacher I had are still teaching. Did your DC ever had the same teacher you had or you ever had the same teachers your mom had? I

No and it's a pity. I had some really great teachers. K, 3, 4, 7, 8, and all of HS were stand outs. I was a poor kid in a bad home situation so they made me feel safe and valued during the day.

That would be quite unlikely - they'd have had to be very young when teaching you, and rather elderly when teaching your kids... unless you had them very young?

I had the same French teacher as my dad and his older brother.

I had four or five of the same teachers as my mom. She had me at 32.

My brother had 2 of my dad's high school teachers. I had one of them in college! Jesuit priests - they teach forever!!

My brother and I had the same 1st grade teacher, high school biology teacher, and high school counselor as our father...

I have a relative whose DS just started with her kindergarten teacher just last week!

My mother did. Same first grade teacher as her mother had. Girls private school. The teacher taught from circa 1920 to 1960.

Yes - DD had a teacher last year who did his student teaching year with my class when I was in 3rd grade. He totally remembered me and even remembered the nickname I gave him (it totally stuck that year)!
