Apply for a job after "review starts" date?

I somehow found a job listing late last night that said "review of applications will begin 8/17." I didn't have time to put together an application during the day today thanks to work. Should I apply tonight or does that phrasing mean it's too late to be considered?
For context, it's not in government or academia, and it was first listed on 8/02, so just over 2 weeks ago. It would probably take me 2-2.5 hours after my kid falls asleep at 10. |
