I've responded to several threads about our experience, but we had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Sharara and VCRM. This was especially important after 2+ years of horrible treatment at SGF. Here is one of my past responses. While we used donor egg, I've heard from others that they had good experiences with VCRM with more traditional IVF treatment as well.

| Thank you. I'm a little concerned they are closed on weekends. What If you need monitoring or the ER is best for a weekend? |

I went there. I was successful on my second ivf cycle. The best part for me was how close it was to where I live--this makes a huge difference for stress when you have to go to a million appointments. It's the only place we went, so can't compare it to other places. Nurse Jo is amazing. I think he knows what he is doing, and like other specialists/doctors has an ego to go along with that. The lab seems to be really good too.
That said, we spent a fortune on our treatments there. They only use one drug provider, and I'm not sure they are the cheapest, and at least for me, it seems like they threw every drug in the book at me, so it really added up. |
pp again. I was told that they would come in if you needed retrieval or transfer on the weekend. It didn't happen to me, and they schedule things such that they can try to avoid doint that (for example with lupron or birth control). They didn't have any natural cycle options when I was there. |
