Did they discontinue making the really large legos? I can't seem to find anywhere to order a new set? My 5yo with SN still plays with this kind as he has very poor fine motor skills and used to put things in his mouth for a really long time. I have a nephew who is turning one, and I would like to order a set for him as I think that is the intended age, but I can't seem to find it. It comes in a large clear bucket and has 70 blocks that are much larger than even the duplo sets. I checked Amazon and the Lego site. Thanks in advance for any leads!
They're called duplo. Is that what you mean?
Did you try mega bloks? https://www.amazon.com/Mega-Bloks-80-Piece-Building-Classic/dp/B007GE75HY
Yes Duplo or mega bloks
I think mega bloks are larger than the duplos. In any case they're definitely easier to build with because they don't lock as tightly together.
Primos aren't made by Lego anymore! Megablocks are fun.
Tyco makes off brand ones that build with Lego duplos.
A bit of a digression, but we just returned from Legoland where we stayed in the Legoland hotel. WOW, did my ASD child LOVE playing in the lego-pit in the hotel lobby. It was like an OT sensory ball pit but way better!!
There are a ton of brands. I googled "large lego type blocks special needs" and a bunch of options popped up. None are actual legs brand but they look like them.
