Household income is $350k and live in Arlington. Are we middle or upper middle class?

That is an upper class income.

If you are able to pay your mortgage, own a car (or two), fund retirement, and put money away into a college savings account -- you are doing much better than the vast majority of Americans.

And once you look at Arlington, my guess is you're in the border or MC/UMC. I'd say HHI has to be $450-500k+ in Arlington to be UMC.
