hey jeff, is the "quote" option disabled for off topic?

Noticed that I don't have the "quote" button in the righthand corner when replying on off topic. Just something quirky on my end?

I've been meaning to ask about this too. I haven't noticed any rhyme or reason to it, but sometimes I have the quote option and sometimes I don't. In fact, usually I don't.

PP again. Right now I don't have it on this thread.

I have mentioned this too. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, I just don't have the quote button.

what browser are you using?

Explorer. But I use the same every time and the quote function is inconsistent.

There should be a quote option. I haven't done anything to disable it in any forum. I have never loaded a page that didn't have it. What version of Explorer are you using?

I don't have the quote option at home or at work on some days. Other days I have it. Weird. . .

This is the OP (and PP):

Now I have it back. hummm. . .

Usually at the office, I just have a teeny little curved line in the left corner that is the top of the quote bubble. On my home computer, I get the entire quote bubble.

I get the curved line. Like a horizontal parentheses. I just tried clicking it and it acts like a quote function, but with that weird "Anonymous" thing.
