Is this a good time for us as a nation to inform the Baby Boom generation they are not as young as they think they are. Perhaps 70 should be the cutoff age for holding political office.

Only death will stop them from running, but in the meantime, we've all been reminded of the importance of the VPs, who will debate next week. At the very least, the VP debate will be much more civil.

It’ll probably be cancelled. For continuity of governance reasons they can’t be in the same room together.

Interesting, but why? Why can't Harris and Pence be in the same room together? Harris is a US Senator. Pence is next in line. If Harris is negative for covid19, why can't she be in the same room as Pence?

I'd think they'd have a lot of ventilation/air filtration in the debate room also.

It's like a miracle. All the bad news just disappears.

Nope. Give it 1 day. That’s it.

I give it to tonight. And possibly only a half hour discussion on the evening news shows. Unless he becomes severely ill or he infected Biden, Trump having COVID is not going to overtake the headlines permanently.

What should be in the headlines ...

Is the cluster f$@k of a national security risk these morons have now created.

I agree.

Remember when they had to put up a power point of all the cabinet positions he didn’t fill because they had competency. All the changes? All the double talk?
That is why you prepare when you don’t have the crisis, so when there is a threat of one you can avoid it.

Care to explain to this dunce, what exactly the national security risk is?

It depends on what you believe is true of her past.

Lol, no. I’ll let someone else say it more succinctly and without all caps. Someone will answer you.

I don't believe it either. He's obviously been taking something to prevent him from getting it, that's why he's been so arrogant (ditto all the other super old pols). I think this is a ruse.

I wouldn’t put anything past him, but if he is lying, it will get leaked. If it does, he’s doomed politically.

In a normal presidency, perhaps. But nothing sticks to teflon don.

You're upset with how the resistance to Trump is acting?

We have to respond as he expects. Can't be panicking the POTUS, you know.

Biden is fine, and will be fine. He reaps what he sows too. Which is a whole lot of good and a lot of mercy and grace, and a lot of loce and wisdom. He will be fine.

I hope you're right in this case, but that's not always how it works. "For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."

Odds are, Biden will be okay. Unlike Trump and his staff, the Bjden team has been careful. The odds are low.he picked up anything from Trump at the debate.

The VP debates should be held remotely.

And how, pray tell, would a "Biden supporter" get anywhere near the POTUS???????

How, please, explain this, how, how, how??????????

You are a POS Russian troll.

The Dems need to take the high road on this - wish him well and reinforce the important of masks, social distancing and hand washing. Any “I told you so” would be seen as petty. It’s obvious Trump blew it and this is just the icing on the cake and there is no need to crow. And dem that does crow needs to be slapped down by Biden.

Love to hear from the senator who shredded a few masks for the camera.

The American people are safer for at least 14 days. No rallies.

Where are all the dead non-mask wearers?

I saw last night that a political figure, African American, attended a rally a few weeks ago with his wife. Huge crowd and no one was wearing masks. He developed Covid and died. We’ll never hear about the other plain Joe’s that contract it.

That was Herman Cain and it was earlier in the summer. Former candidate for summer. What an idiot for causing his own death..

Exactly, they'll be at least six feet apart and it will be well ventilated. If the want to be extra safe, they can make it 20 feet apart. Also Pence is 61 with no comorbidities, which means his risk is still well on the low side compared to Trump.
