The late Queen was born nearly 100 years ago. Social media and TV provides much more visible ways for royals to engage than having them cut a ribbon for a grocery store opening. More efficient and much greater outreach.

Kate and William live apart most of the time and are know to have different primary residences.

There had been no real proof of Kate for many months other than reports of sightings and these strange altered visual images.

There’s nothing wrong with getting pedicures when her kids are in school. She does her job of promoting the BRF’s interests very well. It might not be the life you want, but she is an asset to them.

This is my first time commenting on this thread. Please tell me which comment came from my IP address. Promoting the interests of the BRF is not a 9-5 job, but it is work. Also, I get pedicures from time to time when my kids are in school. What’s wrong with that? I’m not neglecting my kids or my other responsibilities when I do it.

+1. Plus Kate’s kids are still young and she’s raising them herself and not sending them to boarding school. So that means she’s much more hands on. Given the intense scrutiny the kids get she’s got to work on their manners, grooming, etc, pretty much constantly.

There will be no convincing the miserable posters otherwise, but it takes mental stamina to handle much of what Kate's been through as gracefully as she has, which fits well with her role. It was nice to see her at this event.
