"No free speech when Obama was in office" thread. Why does it require login?

I saw a thread titled "No free speech when Obama was in office" the other day and followed it and commented on it a couple times. I went back today to find it, searching in the Political forum. It shows up in the search results but when I click on the title to open it up it requires a login. What's the deal? Thanks.

The thread was deleted. The login message is misleading.
