How can I help get my friend out of the house?

A good friend of mine is divorced and has a 10 year old daughter. She's been divorced for almost 4 years now and her ex has remarried. They have joint custody 50/50. The times when her daughter is with her dad she lies around the house moping about how she's lonely and getting fat (which she's not). I try to get her to go out to dinner, movies, plays, zumba, etc. and she has no interest in leaving the house. Any suggestions on how I can help her?

I think you are doing all you can by being there, which is a lot. With her, it has to come from within. Counseling by a clinical psychologist might help, but it doesn't sound like she is desperate enough about her situation to want to do anything.
