I will be flying with my 10 month old next month and was wondering what i should do to prevent him from having ear pressure. That is my main concern with taking him on a plane, since whenever I fly I get horrible ear pain. And the thought of him going thru that scares me. Are there ear plugs for an infant that anyone recomends?

If your child uses a pacifier, have him suck on it during take off and landing. If not, feed him a bottle. Sucking was really effective for mine at that age.
Breast, bottle, sippy, binky -- anything that gets him sucking and swallowing will do the trick. I think the drama of attempting to insert the earplugs will negate any benefit they might otherwise provide.
Echoing what PPs said - besodes, I didn't think it is even advisible to put ANYTHING in a baby's ear until at least 2 years old - which is why you aren't even suppose to clean their ears (no matter how dirty they appear).
