| Is anyone aware of any high quality Montessori programs for kindergarten in the county? There seem to be very few options. We are trying to get into Judith Hoyer Montessori next year. |

| We really liked Julia Brown Montessori in Laurel. I know it's all the way at the north end of the county, but it was a good school for our twins for 2 years. The instruction is good and the school has a much more social aspect. We left a year ago and our kids are still good friends with their classmates. We've been invited to a number of birthday parties and we periodically schedule joint activities for the kids to get together. There is a feeling of community at the school that is very welcome. When we considered trying to get our kids into the lottery for Robert Goddard Montessori, we talked to the administrator about returning to JBMS so that they would be enrolled full time for transfer. The school was a good option for us. |

| A lot of PG families use Christian Family Montessori in Petworth, which used to be in Mt. Ranier. |
