Saw coworker's daughter smoking... WWYD?

Anonymous
Was driving today and saw my co worker's daughter smoking a cigarette in her car at an intersection. I know it was her and her car because she has a distinctive bumper sticker and she comes by our office sometimes to bring her mom lunch. She 22, in college and still lives in her mother's house, I think she should know. Should I tell her mother directly or should I pull her (the daughter) aside next time shes in the office?

She is an adult and chose to smoke. Why would you tell anyone or talk to anyone about this?

How do you know the mom doesn't know?

Mind your own business. She's a grown adult and you have no clue what their situation is.

At 22 I still lived at home - and I paid to live there. I paid rent, car insurance, for my phone, all of my bills. I respected my parents house rules, but what I did outside of the home was on me.

You will look like a complete fool tattling on a 22yo. What do you hope to gain from this?

Quite likely this is NOT A SECRET.

Even if it is, it's legal.

The child in question is an adult and entitled to make her own decisions.

You are unbelievable, OP. So much so that you are perhaps a troll.

If the child in question was 7, then yes.

It's pretty hard to hide cigarette smoking from someone you live with, and if her mom ever stuck her head on the car she could probably tell.

Why do you care? MYOB.

This has to be a joke. Of course you don't tattle on an adult for making a perfectly valid choice.

Consumed with curiosity: what exactly would you tell her?

"Smoking is bad for you" Er, she knows.

"I'm going to tell on you!" Her mother probably knows.

What else?
