What do you think of Early Years Preschool in Arlington?

I've applied for my child, and recently toured. Everyone there was very nice, and I've heard that people love the convenience of the location. It did seem a bit cramped and chaotic, but maybe it was just the time of day? What are other parents' impressions?

I would love any feeback as well. I too toured and applied recently. When we were there it was late morning and it did not seem chaotic at all. As I recall, the older children where on the playground and the littlest ones were in the indoor play area. It seemed pretty organized and mellow. The teachers seemed very attentive and comfortable and as you mentioned, everyone seemed nice. That said, it is so difficult to judge on a relatively brief visit.

I sent my child there and then we moved. I was not happy with the program. The new head is good though, and it may have improved. I thought it was chaotic and also felt they didn't want to deal with boys. We ended up having an educational expert observe my son at the school and she thought much of his so called "behavior" was the school environment, not him. Turns out when we switched all was well with him, could have been maturation but who knows? The parents were nice but not real involved, treated it a bit like a daycare.

OP here. Thanks so much for the honest input. I would also be very grateful for any input that other parents might have, particularly those who could tell us whether the staffing change has fixed the problems outlined by the PP. Thanks again!
