It's probably not someone's turtle. Turtles live in the city. Go put it back where you found it.

Thanks for the info. I was picturing some poor kid upset about their lost turtle. Didn't realize they could exist in the City. Did a little online research and you appear to be correct- I should just put him back. Thanks! |
| Box turtles are ubiquitous. Make sure you put it back in the direction it was going. |

OP AGAIN- Turtle has been released back to the wild streets of NW. DD is bummed she won't get to hang the "Found Turtle" signs she made all over the neighborhood
