IPL laser?

Has anyone gotten this? What for and how were your results? How many sessions? What did you pay? Where did you go? Would you do it again?

I'm considering it for large pores and acne scars, and uneven pigment. Also a touch of melasma. Thanks!

I had it once, it cost $500. I didn't notice results myself but the photos taken at the Drs office didn't lie. It definately helped even out my skin tone, but did not help so much with acne scars. I think the peels are better for that. I am more interested in the acne scars so I probably won't do too many more IPLs.

Did they recommend more than one treatment?

What kind of peel are you thinking about?

We talked about doing a combo of mild chemical peels and IPLs. I did a peel, then IPL, then a peel, and then stopped for the summer. For either a peel or IPL, you really need to get a series of treatments in order for it to be somewhat effective. DH and I do notice results from those treatments, they take the red out of the scars and make them less noticeable. But I have a really mild case, it depends on what you have.

I just had one done (signed up for three) at Radiance MedSpa in Fairfax next to the WholeFoods. The results so far seem great. All the little red lines around my nose (little broken veins) are gone. They are having a special this month where teh IPLs are $199 each (I think they are normally $300).
