| I know the website for Virginia, but I'm having trouble finding the one for DC. Thank you! |
You actually have to make a FOIA request. Welcome to the dark ages. |
| You're joking! That's terrible! I don't think I can take a DC infant spot now. I will always wonder what I don't know, considering the things I have learned from the Virginia inspection reports. |
| You can't. But beginning in September you'll be able to. |
| You can ask the center to see the reports. As a director in DC, I always posted ours and shared with families the results of inspections. More often than not, it was minor things like a health form that wasn't signed or needed updates. |
This is helpful -- thanks. I have a tour next week. I will ask. |

Yikes. I've never had anyone request that, but I'd share with them if they did. It's usually lists of the kids whose parents haven't keep up with immunizations, etc.
I will say you need to ask for 5 parent references. If the director doesn't have them ready right then, she/he can email them in a day or two, sometimes we need to update as kids move to toddler room or graduate from the program, and we must ask parents before sharing their phone numbers and email with strangers. But I never had problems with parents refusing! |
