Once in a While my Mind is Blown - Ashburn Swingers and White Rocks in the Front Yard?

Anonymous
On a radio show this morning on my morning drive, people were calling in and saying that Ashburn was a swinger haven and there were all sorts of swinger meet ups there. Also they were talking about people having white rocks in the front yard being a signal for swingers.

I have never heard of this and it blew my mind. My neighbors have white rocks! WTF? Have you heard of this?

White rocks on front porch = urban legends
Large number of swingers in Ashburn = there's a few of us, yes, though we are personally located in Great Falls we know a few from that area.

NP... why?

I get the nosy curious part, but who cares what consenting adults do? Why would you "hope" something like this isn't true?

Did you somehow turn your radio to a station from 2002? Because that's the first time I heard that tale.

No to rocks. Yes to pineapple flags and backyard tiki bars.

I use tiki bars to scare mosquitoes away, not attract swingers. So I guess I'm doing it wrong and that's disappointing, I could definitely use the excitement.

I heard thatt rumour years ago...I actually live in Ashburn now and laugh everytime I see white rocks outside someones house. I think they are mostly for decorative purposes.

White rocks = South Riding swingers. But that legend has been around since they were established ~20 years ago.

If these legends have been around so long there has to be some truth.

I have rocks in my front yard and am definitely not a swinger.

DH and I are part of the swinger community and we don't have anything in our house to broadcast it, that's just dumb. Maybe in the 1960s it made sense, nowadays with the Internet there are much better ways of finding like-minded people than random, ambiguous signals.

Same here, but I'm amused at the idea.

I mean I doubt Swingers are cruising the streets and knocking on random doors.
