Infertility Support and Discussion
Just had him for a procedure on Saturday. I am sure he is quite capable at his job but he was rude and arrogant. ANnytime I asked any sort of question he would role his eyes and not answer it. He even yelled at me during the procedure because he needed me to move my legs more. All he had to do was ask. It was my first time geeting an IUI and I would have been more then happy to accomodate.
Oh no! Which one is he I'll have to look up his picture. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. What an ass. There is this one guy there who really hurt me. He said "this isn't supposed to hurt." And was really brash and insensitive. It did hurt! A lot! I was crying. I think it was a mock transfer and then I saw him again for one of my IUIs and he couldn't get it in straight. He was mad at my cervix and took it out on me. I bet its him!
OMG I just looked him up and that is totally him! I'm am furious now. What gives him the right to treat women that way? My Dr. was Mottla and he never ever ever had a problem getting anything past my cervix. Never. This guy was like bending catheters with pliers and slamming drawers. WTF? Its all coming back to me. This was years ago for me but you should say something to the office manager or somebody.
OMG! New poster here. I had the same issue. He was very mad my cervix seemed curved and apparently this really made things inconvenient for him I was even bleeding after the procedure with him.

huh, interesting. I had never heard that about him before.
As an FYI, I wouldn't hesitate to ask for a different SG physician at the time of the procedure. I've done 3 IVF cycles with SG and during the second transfer had a physician that I just didn't care for. I felt like she rushed through the entire thing and didn't answer my questions. Well, lo and behold, she was also (randomly) the doctor on duty for transfer when I came for my third transfer. I asked the nurse if there was any other physician around who could do the transfer and they found one and didn't bat an eye. I felt pretty sheepish asking because it's quite possible the first one was just having a bad day when I felt like she was rushed. However, being it was an IVF cycle and how much was at stake I asked and they were extremely accomodating. |
Thanks 15:56 -- I was actually wondering about whether you could switch REs for a procedure after reading that post. I'll try to avoid McKeeby - he sounds like a real jerk.
Oh man...so glad he never did my procedures. I had Dr. Kiperzstock (sp) do a procedure and was not too fond of him but Dr. McKeeby sounds scary!!
