I was in the third round of interviews today for a managerial position. The interviewer was friendly with me, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. She kept staring at my wedding band and my watch to the point where it made me feel uncomfortable and I put my hands under the table. I'm very interested in the job and tried my best to get her to warm up to me, but something felt off. My previous round of interviews felt way more comfortable and lasted over an hour.
Have you ever felt not-so-confident about a job interview but ended up getting the job? |
| Maybe she has Asperger's and has trouble with sustained eye contact? |

I was in a panel interview once where I felt like this woman was giving me the stink eye. Later, after we'd worked together for some time, she told me how much she loved me in the interview, and how sick she felt that day (morning sickness).
Sometimes someone's face / reaction / personality has nothing to do with you. |
