Summer School and ADHD medication

Anonymous
my DD starts Summer School on Monday. She gets out at 12pm, at school she gets her midday dose at noon, I am not sure if she should take her second dose at school or when she gets home. What will you do?

Depends on how she is when she gets home. If she is bouncing off the walls, give it to her at school. If she seems okay, give it to her at home.

Will she have homework?

I guess I find that out next week, she not as hyper when a couple hours after her pills wear off. Problem with the clinic is that
I hear summer school always have their issues.

I would give it at home and not involve the school, unless getting it from the nurse will avoid a power struggle between you and her.

I've had problems with the clinic during the school year, so best to avoid if you can. My DD is very hyper when the medication wears, so in our case it would depend on which we can deal with easier: her behavior or a difficult health tech.

True that what I was thinking off, we don't any problems with the base school clinic but we are going to a different school, so yah we just wait
