Anyone just starting NCIVF?

I just started my first NCIVF and wonder if there is anyone out there just starting. I've done my day 3, head back again for day 8 on Monday. The chances of success are low but I'm still hopeful.

I did two rounds of NCIVF...and neither worked for me. Embryo just didn't "stick" I guess. But I wish you all the best of luck! My feelings about NCIVF are not as positive as they used to be but I am more than happy to answer any questions you have about the procedure from a patient's point of view.

OP here. I go in tomorrow morning for my beta. I did two test this past weekend, one at 9 days past 3-day transfer, the other at 11 days past the transfer. Both negative. I'm preparing myself for tomorrow, but of course yesterday and today I have been having weird hot flashes.

Any possibilities I took the hpt to early??

Poster 10:17 here...I took HPT at those same days and mine were negative as well. NCIVF did not work for me, both times I did it. However, your body is different than mine so maybe you won't have enough HCG in your urine until much later in your cycle. There is always hope, its all we have so stay positive until you get that phone call with your results. As far as the hot flashes, if you are taking progesterone suppositories and estrace, then most likely it is the side effects from that. They can mimick pregnancy symptoms. (I experiences hot flashes too) Keep us posted on your beta results! Good luck!

Op here, thanks for the well wishes. I haven't had hot flashes until yesterday, and now a headache. You are right though, they are side effects of the progesterone. I am just hoping for a fabulous surprise tomorrow, but at least I'm partially prepared for the bad news.

OP here, it was a negative and my period started today. I started another thread about if you would do a 4 IVF.... have a lot to consider, emotionally, financially, etc. Thanks for asking.

I'm so sorry to hear you did not get bfp's from NCIVF, my husband and I were successful on the first try (DS is almost 2) and we are going back for a second try this month. I'm not sure what our plan will be if we are not successful, traditional IVF maybe?

I'm in my 2ww from my first NCIVF cycle, the whole process went very smoothly, we're just anxious for the results. How soon should I do a HPT?

PP, I did my HPT 10 days after ET and it was definitely positive, good luck with your NC. I did 2 rounds and the second one stuck.

PP, I just did my HPT and there is a faint line, what do I do now. Do you tell the nurses and hope for an earlier beta or do I just wait until Monday when test is scheduled....The anticipation is killing me.

I did stimulated IVF at DF, and I had a faint line 2 days before my beta test and my initial betas were low but they doubled every other day, and I'm 9 wks now. I was really bloated and nauseous in the beginning of pregnancy, but I feel good now. GL to all IVFers

hello, I just had my first consult with Dr. Gordon at DF and he recommended NCIVF after reviewing my records from my previous RE. He was very thorough and my DH and I are feeling good about switching to this practice. Any advice from other NCIVF patients?

PP, I had Dr. Gordon and he helped me conceive my DS through NCIVF, he is by far the best doctor I have ever seen.

I'm a 2 time Dr Gordon IVF success and we are going back for a NC FET next month. If it works that will mean all of our kids were actually conceived on the same day but their birthdates are 2 yrs apart....weird to think of it that way.
