FreeGarageSale for meds?

Has anyone procured meds through the ads on Freegaragesale.com? Good or bad experiences to share? We just went through a retrieval cycle and then FET with the only PGS normal embryo we got, and it resulted in a chemical pregnancy. So, it's on to a new fresh cycle. We are entirely OOP and doing IVF due to cancer treatments/chemo, so our medical expenses are rapidly rising and I am trying to assess the safest (and cheapest) way to get Gonal-F, Lupron and Ovidrel. Also considering ivfmeds.com but not sure if they would get here in time.

I'm sorry to hear about the chemo, OP. I do not have any experience with that site, but have you tried asking your nurse if they have some donated meds they could give you since you are OOP?

Thank you, PP! Unfortunately they don't have any of the ones I need right now and we're starting soon (I was able to get a few last cycle.)

Sometimes women who are linked into the infertility community through secret/private Facebook pages help each other out. I also think asking your RE if they have any donated meds is a good idea. We were able to get Lupron this way.

Thanks 11:26! Yes, unfortunately the RE doesn't have any of those meds available/donated currently. I haven't had much luck with the Resolve and other infertility groups but will try to ask around for the "secret" ones.

I dont know what meds you need, but there are manufacturer coupons for follistim and ganirelix.

I've used freegarage sale for my meds for the past three cycles. I used Freedom fertility for our first cycle. I haven't had a bad experience yet, though people post warnings on the boards about individuals who have been problematic. I've primarily bought locally, and also met some interesting women in the process who are going through the same thing as me. And it enabled us to afford our fourth (and successful) OE OVF cycle.

I have unused Gonal-F leftover that I am happy to give you if you still need it. I won't be back in DC until July 17th though so it may be too late by then.

Joining to the question of the topic starter, I always see the advertising but never read reviews on FreeGarageSale, I just feel curious. I usually buy meds at Canadian pharmacy , Canadian guys never let me down in sense of quality of their products.
