| what its going to happen to Mount Vernon Woods Elementary, ? Early word is that they failed to meet Accredited for the 4th year in a row. Will the school system fire half the teachers or have them reapply for the jobs like some schools do? |

No.
Several teachers have been administratively placed at other schools across the county. Dr. Mitchell, new this year, is a smart principal who will turn the school around. |

Yes it is. Emails went out to the schools receiving the teachers went out 2 weeks ago. Sounds like PP must be one of those teachers. They were first placed on the destaff list. When they didn't get picked up from that individual schools were contacted saying that they would receive a teacher. |

so are they going to transfer them? I don't have any kids yett. But I attend that school, and it sad to see how low the test scores are. It sadder to see My High school Mount Vernon High School, that the test scores for that school are so bad. I passed my Algebra 1, English 11, All History SOls, and all Science sols, Keep in mind that I am ADHD/LD/OHI. I am Special Ed and I pass those SOLS but General ed kids can't pass it anymore. |
