What happened to the thread in OT about a bounced check wedding gift?

There was a thread about a bride-to-be who deposited a check and it bounced. She wanted to know if she should tell the check writer. I am sure I saw some new comments this morning, but now I don't see the thread even going back to posts last updated on 6/12. Didn't see it in Money/Finances, either.
