I saw she is being promoted to central.
They don't announce replacements at the same time. They will include a few parents and staff on an interview panel to interview three predetermined candidates so they have "community input", and then they'll give the job to whoever they were going to hire anyway.
Anyone know who they are looking at?
Would Jennifer be consulted? It's sort of interesting because now she will be sort of supervising her replacement.
No, the outgoing principal has nothing to do with the selection of the new principal. They keep them completely out of the process.
And it will be kept completely secret who the candidates are. People included on the interview panel have to sign confidentiality statements.
What's the timeline?
Whoever it is needs to be amazing. It's going to be hard to follow Webster.
No one has any idea?
|
No one has any idea because they are very, very secretive about the whole process. I have worked in this county for 15 years, and I have never heard "rumors" before the announcement comes out.
What I'm sure of is that the people at central office already know who is going to be the principal there, but they have not gone through the process of allowing the community to think they have input, so nothing is being announced yet. There should be a meeting with the director or community superintendent for that area, where they will explain the timeline. |
Thanks. Your cynicism makes me laugh because I am sure it's all true. In this case I bet Jennifer Webster has a sense of what's going on, because she will be supervising hs performance in her next job. Whoever wants the job better hope she likes him/her. ?
Casey Crouse, (former proud principal of Eastern MS).
What's her story?
