Do you love your OB/GYN office

Anonymous
I am very early in my pregnancy and would like to switch to another doctor. I am currently at Capital Womens Care. I do not like the large practice or the team at the front desk. I would like a doctor in Bethesda, a small practice with priviledges at Holy Cross if possible as I will be having a C-section. Thanks for your recommendations!

Dr. Richard Footer has an office in Bethesda a few blocks from the Metro and he only delivers at Holy Cross. He is a solo practitioner with the same person at the front desk each time you go.

I go to OBGYN and Assoc. in the HC medical building attached to the hospital. While it is a large practice and I cycled through all the docs while pregnant with #1, I only saw one doc while I was pregnant with #2 (my choice) and I had a scheduled c with that doc. The front desk folks are nice. The nurses are nice. And the sono ladies are fabulous. I have to say, having in-house sono and lab is very convenient. And quite frankly, I couldn't imagine going to a routine appt and having the doc be concerned enough to order a sono and then have to schedule it elsewhere and then follow up with the doc again.

Maybe just me, but found that a lot of Bethesda docs don't deliver at HC? If that's less important than the doctor, Contemporary Women's (Gschwend/Kleinerman) is great. They deliver at Sibley.

I love love love my OB/GYN office. I love the OB, the nurse, the receptionist; I love everything about it. I am with Dr. Robert Footer (Robert Footer, not Richard Footer). He delivers at Sibley, actually I am having a scheduled C-section with him. He has 2 offices, 1 in DC and 1 in Rockville, the one in Rockville probably will work well for you, its' close to Bethesda, sort of in the North Bethesda area.

To OP. Which CWC group are you with right now? There are several that deliver at Holy Cross.

Dr. Lori Kaler. She is sole practitioner in N. Bethesda, and delivers at Sibley.

I second this recommendation. I had an unplanned C-section with Dr. Footer a few months ago after a complicated labor and he was fantastic. Also love the nurse, receptionist, etc.
