I understand where the protesters were coming from, but was this really the most effective strategy?

The parade has become very capitalistic.

I dunno, but it was annoying. I don't know of any group who wanted to march who wasn't allowed to.

It's become the Catalina Wine Mixer.

It no longer resembles its original self, and coporate interference has killed it. Now it's far too welcoming, for lack of a better word. 75% of the crowd are heteros now, the trans and leather D/S elements have been toned down to the point of not even existing....

It's devolved from a very in your face adult-themed event for the GLBTQ community to a G-rated party for white urban hipster families with smiling, marching gays as entertainment.


So sad.
